HOW DO I SOLVE CLUE 2?
Remember PEMDAS? It's the order that you solve equations in. Parentheses, Exponents, Multiply/Divide, Addition/Subtraction. So, it would make sense that you do the parentheses first, which gives you 3, then multiply by 2, giving you 6. Then divide by 6, and you get 1. But that is NOT correct. You add the numbers in the parentheses, then you divide 6 by 2. This gives you 3, then multiply by 3. The answer is 9.
HOW DO I SOLVE CLUE 3?
If you used a calculator for this problem, you probably had no issues. However, since this seems so simple many people will just do it in their heads. In the end, when it adds 10, 4,090+10 is 5,000, right? No, it's 4,100.
